Established over 18 years ago Minyard & Co., P.C. has created a powerful professional structure that combines solid client relations with excellent service. We are a dynamic and innovative accounting and business advisory firm providing a wide range of services that enable our clients to succeed in an ever, evolving market.

Our staff consists of fully-prepared, degreed accountants. We have three MBAs and one CPA in the office. We are members of the American Institute of Public Accountants, the Arizona Association of Public Accountants, the Council of Petroleum Accounting Societies, the International Eurogroup Consultancy, and are qualified under the Public Company Accounting Oversite Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Our Team

Michael E. Minyard, CPA, MBA
President, Director of Tax & Consulting

Mr. Minyard is the founder and President of Michael Minyard & Co., P.C. He has more than 36 years of diverse business and entrepreneurial experience including technology, agricultural, construction, real estate, and professional services. Mr. Minyard began his professional career in the U.S. army, where he served in Data Processing Headquarters in Europe. His industry experience includes computer systems management, farming and commodity trading, residential and commercial construction and development, and oil and gas. He has guided numerous firms from formation, thorough capital acquisition and growth phases to pre-IPO. He has experience in multinational financial transactions, tax mitigation and corporate restructuring.

Mr. Minyard holds a B.S. in Business and an MBA from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Arizona Society of CPAs and the National Society of Tax Preparers.

Anne-Marie Psenka
Staff Accountant

Anne-Marie Psenka, Staff Accountant, joined us with more than six years retail operations management experience. In addition to overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, Ms. Psenka managed inventory, record-keeping and continually developed and implemented cash control and process improvements. Additionally Ms. Psenka has advanced skills in systems training and leadership.

Ms. Psenka's public accounting experience includes more than five years of payroll and compensation, sales taxes, monthly accounting, financial statements and financial analysis. She also prepares individual and corporate tax returns.

Ms. Psenka has a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University and a Bachelors of Arts in accounting from the University of Phoenix.

 



Mark J. Hymer, MBA
Staff Accountant

Mark Hymer, MBA, Staff Accountant, possesses public accounting experience that includes more than five years of performing taxation, audit, financial, and consulting services for small to mid-size clients. In addition, his business experience in the banking sector includes more than seven years of customer service, sales and fraud analysis for personal and business accounts.

Mr. Hymer graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration. He is currently completing the CPA exam to practice in Arizona.

 



Roy J. Garrett, MBA
Lead Auditor

Roy Garrett, MBA, Lead Auditor started his auditing career over four years ago. His background includes direct auditing of Corporations, Not-for-Profit Corporations, and Benefit Plans. Roy’s experience covers all aspects of an audit including, but not limited to, all testing, contract analysis, lease analysis, risk assessment, internal control reviews, consultation, write-ups, cash testing, confirmations, legal analysis of loan covenants and bylaws, financial statement preparation and ratio analysis, audit adjusting journal entries, and equity transaction reconciliation.

Mr. Garrett graduated from DeVry University - Summa cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School.

 



Rikay R. Eyman
Marketing Director

Rikay Eyman, Marketing Director, has an extensive background including event coordination, sales reporting, and ad design. In addition to tracking sales projections, and client relations she has organized numerous functions including a corporate sales event at the Seattle Museum of Flight and celebrity events at the Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix. Ms. Eyman’s industry background includes gaming, wireless communication, and staffing services.

Ms. Eyman currently specializes in print and web advertising, video production and narration, creating marketing strategies, website development/ management, and new market infiltration
